January 24 1917 Launched by Smith's Dock Co Ltd, South Bank-on-Tees, Middlesbrough (Yd.No.665) (non-standard "Castle" class) for The Admiralty as JAMES HUNNIFORD.
1917 Completed.
1920Sold to Cygnet Steam Fishing Co Ltd, Fleetwood.
January 16 1920Registered at Fleetwood (FD363).
July 06 1921Renamed CREMLYN (FD363).
1924Sold to Brooklyn Fishing Co Ltd, Fleetwood (Thomas Cardwell, manager).
1934Sold to The Clifton Steam Trawlers Ltd, Fleetwood.

March 08 1936Sailed Fleetwood for West of Scotland grounds.
March 14 1936Sank the WINOOKA (GY465) (ex- SEAWARD HO) in collision off St. Kilda; three of her crew lost, remainder picked up. Badly damage but pumps coping and returned to Fleetwood.
1939Requisitioned for war service and converted for auxiliary patrol duties.
November 22 1940Mined off Tyne; crew rescued by Cullercoats lifeboat.
