April 09 1904On a trip (Sk. Hambling). Stood by wooden full rigged ship SIGRID (1003grt/1865) (Capt Carl Gabrielsen) dismasted off Westray, Orkney on passage Trondheim - Mobile. Master declined tow.
April 11 1904Vessel foundered 8 miles NW by W of Noup Head, Westray, Orkney. Crew taken onboard and landed in Orkney. Capt Gabrielsen later charged with sinking the ship with criminal intent.
August 1915Requisitioned for war service and converted for minesweeping duties (Ad.No.296).
1919Returned.
October 02 1924Sold to Dinas Steam Trawling Co Ltd, Fleetwood.
October 06 1924Registered at Fleetwood (FD15).
October 03 1936Mortgaged to William Deacons Bank Ltd, London.
Pre August 1938Laid up at Fleetwood.
June 1940Requisitioned for war service and converted for minesweeping duties (P.No.FY.1876).
September 1940Sold to The Admiralty and renamed SUNSPOT.
May 1947Sold to Northern Trawlers Ltd, Grimsby. Reverted to ST. CLAIR (GY387).
1948 Sold to Associated Trawlers (Gt. Yarmouth) Ltd, Great Yarmouth.
August 23 1949Homeward to Gt. Yarmouth in thick fog in the Pentland Firth stranded on Isle of Stroma. Refloated but wind and tide carried her across the Firth, grounding on rocks off Island of Swona; all crew taken off by lifeboat. Wreck declared a total loss and sold to local company for demolition in situ.
