April 27 1937Launched by Cochrane & Sons Ltd, Selby (Yd.No.1183) for Pickering & Haldane's Steam Trawling Co Ltd, Hull as LORD NUFFIELD.
July 1937Completed. Registered at Hull (H473).
March 02 1939 Outward for fishing grounds had engine breakdown in a NW gale off Torness Point. After several unsuccessful attempts tow connected and vessel delivered to Scrabster.
September 1939Requisitioned for war service and converted for anti-submarine duties (P.No. FY.221).
November 10 1942With others sank the Italian submarine EMO off Algiers, rescuing 49 survivors.
7/8 1944Took part in Sicily landings (Operation Husky).
1944Owners re-styled Lord Line Ltd, Hull (Thomas W. Boyd, manager).
9/10 1944 Took part in Salerno landings.
December 1945Returned to UK and paid off.
December 1947Converted for burning oil fuel, F.P. above 150° F.
1950Owners re-styled Associated Fisheries Trawling Co Ltd, Hull (Thomas W. Boyd, manager).
1953Owners reverted to Lord Line Ltd, Hull (Thomas W. Boyd, manager).
December 12 1962Transferred within the Associated Fisheries Group to Wyre Trawlers Ltd, Fleetwood. (Leslie Wheildon, manager).
1964Registered at Fleetwood (FD88).
1967Sold to Jos. de Smedt, Antwerp for demolition.
June 08 1967Delivered Antwerp.
