While outward bound for Iceland vessel grounded on submerged rocks at Mill Rocks, west of the Isle of Rhum in the Inner Hebrides.
She subsequently drifted off and sank some 4.5 miles to the SE of Oigh Sgeir Lighthouse, after being abandoned in gale force winds.
All the crew were saved from liferafts by Wyre Conqueror. |
