\n14.2.1898: Arrived Grimsby and reported having seen a large vessel floating bottom up on 12 February 60miles NE of Spurn Point (barque NEPTUN, Sapelo for Aberdeen, cargo pitch-pine, which capsized 6.2.1898. Crew picked up by Grimsby trawler ITALY (GY92) and landed Grimsby).
