\n19.5.1936: Completed at a cost of \u00a319,805. Albert Turgoose & James Clark designated joint managers.
\n25.5.1936: Sailed Hull on first trip to Norway Coast (Sk. Arnasson).
\n15.6.1936: At Hull landed 744 kits \u00a3910 gross.
\n22.7.1939: Sailed Hull for Bear Island (Sk. R. Pettman).

\n16.4.1942: In company with NORTHERN WAVE (P.No.FY153) (Ty\/Lieut. William Godfrey Pardoe-Matthews RNR) who picked up 28 survivors, picked up 9 survivors including Master (Capt. John McDonald), from MoWT steamer EMPIRE HOWARD (6985grt\/1941) torpedoed by U-boat (U403) NW of North Cape (73.48 21.50E). Landed survivors at Polarnoe near Murmansk.
\n28.4.1942: Sailed Murmansk escorting convoy QP-11 – Murmansk – Reykjavik.
\n1.5.1942: 150 miles off Bear Island picked up 14 survivors of Russian steamer TSIOLKOVSKIJ (2847g\/1935) torpedoed by U.boat (U589) (71.46N 34.30E) and damaged, subsequently sunk by German destroyers Z-24 and Z-25. Escorting convoy QP-14 Murmansk – Reykjavik. Took off most of crew of HMS SOMALI (G33) torpedoed amidships by U-boat ((U703) transferring them to other ships.

\n15.2.1943: Escorting convoy JW-53 Liverpool – Kola Inlet. In heavy weather forward store flooded, speed reduced and fell behind. Ordered to to steam for Scapa Flow escorted by HMS DIANELLA (K07).
\n9.3.1943: Ty\/Lieut. George O.T. D. Henderson RNVR appointed CO.
\n3.1944: Ty\/Lieut. Leslie Alfred Berry RNVR appointed CO.
