Johnson, Cleethorpes, manager).<br \/>\n29.5.1937:  Registered at Grimsby (GY397).<br \/>\n16.10.1939:  Requisitioned for war service as an anti submarine trawler  (1-4\u201d) (P.No.FY.245).<br \/>\n1940:  Based Scapa Flow with A\/S Group 14 (Lt Cdr Jackson RNR).<br \/>\n12.1940: South Atlantic Command,  Armed Boarding Vessel at Gibraltar (Cdr S. A. Brooks OBE Rtd).<br \/>\n14.9.1942:  Sold to Kingston Steam Trawling Co Ltd, Hull (John William Lown, manager) for \u00a340,000.<br \/>\n23.9.1942:  Grimsby registry closed.<br \/>\n25.9.1942:  Registered at Hull (H542) (fees \u00a35.6.3d).<br \/>\n16.11.1942:  Transferred to West Africa Command (Act. Cdr L. H. Phillips Rtd).<br \/>\n12.1943:  Engaged and shot down Focke Wulf.<br \/>\n22.1.1945:   Arrived Hull for refit and restoration by St.Andrew\u2019s Engineering Co. Ltd. Hull.<br \/>\n16.5.1945:  Ran trials.<br \/>\n17.5.1945 Returned to owner (William O\u2019Dell manager ).<br \/>\n13.6.1945:  Sailed Hull for Bear Island (Sk. W. Albert Cornish).<br \/>\n20.8.1945:  At Hull landed a record breaking catch,  4,156 kits and 20 ton of cod liver oil grossed \u00a315,830 (Following this success Seven Seas Ltd the Hull cod liver oil refining company put a film crew onboard with Sk. Cornish and produced a documentary about the trawler\u2019s round trip from Hull to Bear Island ( Featured in the Distant Grounds Video No.1 1993)).<br \/>\n7.12.1945:  Registered at Hull as KINGSTON PEARL (H542).<br \/>\n30.11.1945:  Insured value \u00a350,000; for 1946 proposed \u00a358,000.<br \/>\n16.2.1946:  On a Norway Coast trip (Sk.J. W. Hornby).  Dodging in heavy seas when struck by  large waves and put almost on her beam end.  All fittings swept from boat deck and engine room skylight  badly damaged allowing water into engine room and accommodation;  one fireman fatally injured.  Righted herself and distress signal sent.<br \/>\n18.2.1946:  Steam trawler KINGSTON ONYX (GY119) (Sk. John Davidson) responded and stood by.<br \/>\n20.2.1946:  Salvage tug PARAT (191grt\/1913) arrived on scene, connected and delivered Trondheim.  Temporary repairs carried out.<br \/>\n3.3.1946:  Arrived Hull.<br \/>\n6.1950:  Converted for burning oil fuel, F.P. above 150\u00b0 F.<br \/>\n1953:  Made one trip to Greenland fishery.<br \/>\n20.12.1957:  Sold to Robins Trawlers Ltd, Hull (Robins family) (William John Robbins, manager) for \u00a349,00.<br \/>\n16.1.1958:  Registered at Hull as DAYSTAR (H542).<br \/>\n31.1.1958:  Terence George Robbins appointed manager.<br \/>\n1961:  Company taken over by Boston Deep Sea Fisheries Ltd, Fleetwood (Basil  A. Parkes, manager).<br \/>\n4.10.1963:  Sailed Hull for Iceland, last trip before transfer (Sk. E. Fieldsend).<br \/>\n28.10.1963:  At Hull landed 803 kits grossed \u00a34,397.<br \/>\n13.11.1963:  Transferred to Fleetwood.<br \/>\n13.11.1963:  Last landing at Fleetwood, 800 boxes grossed \u00a35,219.<br \/>\n1.1964: Sold to Lacmots Ltd, Glasson Dock for breaking up.<br \/>\n1.2.1964:  Delivered Glasson Dock.<br \/>\n21.9.1964:  Hull registry closed.<\/p>\n<p>(Sk.
