At 5.20 pm. attacked by enemy submarine (U.52).  Three torpedoes fired, struck by first one; no survivors and third sank CONQUEROR.<br \/>\n27.9.1916:  At 4.00 am. seventeen officers and men from CONQUEROR II picked up from carley floats by HM Destroyer SYLVIA.<br \/>\n14.10.1916:  Fleetwood registry closed  \u201cLost on Admiralty service\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>(Lost &#8211;  (C.O.)
