Hi, Trying to fine out some information in relation to an antique searchlight i got of my father. It has a stamp on the top f it with “Steam Drifters Store Co Ltd Lowestoft 401″ … Cant seem to find out any information on the ship it came of. I live in the southeast of Ireland 13 miles from Waterford city. I would be very thankfull if someone can tell me a little of its history. Many thanks, Niall

  10. Jim Porter says:

    Niall

You might be better asking someone at the Port of Lowestoft Research Society. They would have more information on this kind of thing than we do.

    Cheers

    Jim

  11. Niall Breen says:

    Thanks very much…

    Hi Jim,

I am researching my family tree and there is a trawler S.T. Sweeper GY853 on this site that I would like a copy of the image. You have the image listed as courtesy of the JJ Collection. Is there any chance you can give me their details so that I can contact them?

    Kind regards,

    Bob
