14.4.1930: Launched by Cochrane & Sons Ltd, Selby (Yd.No.1081) for West Dock Steam Fishing Co Ltd, Hull as NAB WYKE.
27.5.1930: Registered at Hull (H252).
3.6.1930: Completed at a cost of £16,69 (Ernest W. Robins, manager).
25.7.1939: Insured value £14,000.
31.8.1939: Requisitioned for war service as a minesweeper (1-12pdr, 2-LMGs (2×1))(P.No.FY.654) (Hire rate £172.11.0d/month).
10.1939: Commissioned and based Rosyth.1940: At Barrow fitted for LL and acoustic ‘sweeping (mounted additional 1-20mm AA & 2-0.5”VMGs). Based Aberdeen then Invergordon.
