14.11.1936: Launched by Cochrane & Sons Ltd, Selby (Yd.No.1173) for Newington Steam Trawling Co Ltd, Hull as HUGH WALPOLE.
6.1.1937: Registered at Hull (H409).
8.1.1937: Completed (Henry Burton, manager).
12.1.1937: Sailed Hull on first trip to Bear Island grounds (Sk. C. Wharam).
1.2.1937: At Hull landed3,248 kits grossed £1,234.
8.1939: Sold to The Admiralty (£28,530) converted to an anti submarine trawler (P.No.FY.102).
20.5.1940: Hull registry closed. Based Kirkwall with 24th A/S Group (Sk. D. Upson RNR).
1.1941: Based Belfast with A/S Trawler Force (Escort WN/EN convoys) (Pbty Ty/Sub Lieut. J. Mackenzie RNR).

20.10.1945: A Control Committee was formed to manage Hull and Grimsby trawlers which had been bought by the Admiralty pre war and were being offered for sale back to their original owners. The owners who bought back these vessels and wanted to take part in the scheme agreed to register the trawlers under the Hull Ice Co. Ltd and profits were shared. Management of the trawlers was given to the companies which had bought them.

16.11.1946: Sold to Newington Steam Trawling Co Ltd, Hull (Henry Burton, manager).

22.12.1951: Registered at Hull as ROSSELLA (H336).
2.6.1959: Sold to Van Heygen Freres, Ghent for breaking up.
