1919: Launched by John Chambers & Co Ltd, Oulton Broad, Lowestoft (Yd.No.499) (“Admiralty drifter”) for The Admiralty as CURRENT (Ad.No.4148).
3.12.1919: Completed as a fishing vessel.
29.9.1920: Transferred to Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries, London and placed on sales list.
8.1920: Sold to Henry C. Thompson, North Shields (Robert Boyle, manager).
30.8.1920: Registered at North Shields (SN43).
26.5.1922: North Shields registry closed “Ceased fishing”.
1922: Sold to A. Grant & John T. Graham, Cellardyke (John T. Graham managing owner). Registered at Kirkcaldy as COPIOUS (KY175).
1925: Sold to W. C. Wilson, North Shields & Others (John T. Graham, Cellardyke, manager).
27.8.1931: Answered distress call from Port Seaton steam trawler CHOICE (A764) holed while hauling some 19 miles off Peterhead and making water. Took off crew and connected but after two hours towing Choice started to settle and foundered. Survivors landed at Anstruther.
8.1.1940: Requisitioned for war service on miscellaneous Naval duties (P.No.FY.337) (Hire rate £32.0.0d/month).
1945: Sold to Boston Deep Sea Fishing & Ice Co Ltd, Fleetwood (Basil A. Parkes, Cleveleys, manager).
8.1945: Returned to owner.
1947: Sold to The Adam Steam Fishing Co Ltd, London (Basil A. Parkes, manager).
2.1948: Sold to Bloomfields Ltd, Gt. Yarmouth (Cecil Frank Mayo, manager).
