Ernest Neal) disabled 30 miles SE of Flamborough with flooding in engineroom. On arrival found crew had taken to liferaft and all five were recovered safely. Skipper and mate returned to vessel, tow connected and course set for Humber estuary. After about 13 miles, a heavy sea swept her and she started to settle, foundering 14 miles from Spurn Point. Survivors landed at Grimsby.
1963: Sold to J. J. King & Co Ltd, Gateshead for breaking up.

10.12.1905: While sheltering in Corunna Bay (Sk. Longthorpe), five men and five from the MANORBIER CASTLE (LO164) also sheltering, went ashore. Two hours later when the boat was expected back, cries were heard. Sk. Longthorpe put off in the boat and found that the returning boat had been swamped in the surf and seven men washed out; three remained in the boat and one swam ashore.
14.12.1905: Arrived Milford and reported that six men had drowned*.
8.6.1905: At Bantry Bay Petty Sessions, Sk. George Medway was fined £50 for poaching in Bantry Bay. Nets were confiscated.
